Stansberry Engineering Co. provided engineering services for over half a dozen of the Stepping Stone School locations serving the critical need for affordable quality childcare in the growing Central Texas region.

The projects typically include a 9,000 to 10,000 square foot childcare facility, associated parking, play yards, stormwater controls, and utilities. Preservation of trees is important along with detailed grading of the play yards to ensure compliance with the Texas Accessibility Standards.

Each location has its unique challenges; within the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone requiring permitting from TCEQ, locating a special amenity for the school such as a pool, or slope challenges for accessibility.
